Bethany Horne
Bethany Horne is a graduate of the University of Alberta in Edmonton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a specialization in biological sciences. After leading educational programs at the Muttart Conservatory and the John Janzen Nature Centre in Edmonton for several years and working for Vital Statistics, Bethany began persuing a freelance writing career in early 2010.
Bethany has written several technical articles for the Association of Alberta Registry agencies, as well as policy and procedure manuals for a horticulture company.
A significant part of Bethany's writing focuses on outdoor recreation and weekend getaways in Alberta, as well as travel, horticulture/gardening, and science. Bethany and her husband live in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
